I completed a PhD in Biological Anthropology at Liverpool John Moores University in 2017, with my thesis on tooth wear and dental pathologies in fossil hominins. I then completed a two year postdoctoral position at the University of Otago in New Zealand, studying mechanical properties and structure of primate teeth from an evolutionary perspective. After this I completed a six month postdoctoral research position in the United States at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where I undertook research on tooth erosion and microwear. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher on the Tied2Teeth project (ERC), at CENIEH in Spain.
